1. What is Filter4Life?

Filter4Life is a reusable HVAC air filter system that uses a durable metal frame and washable fabric pouches. Instead of buying disposable filters every few months, you simply replace the dirty pouch with a clean one and wash the used pouch.

2. How does the Filter4Life system work?

Every Filter4Life filter comes with a metal frame and 2 reusable pouches, so you can switch between them easily.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Slide the dirty pouch OFF the metal frame

  2. Slide the clean pouch ON

  3. Wash the used pouch in your washing machine

The metal frame stays in your HVAC system — only the fabric pouch gets changed.

 

4. How often should I clean the pouch?

You should wash the pouch every 3 months under normal household conditions.

However, you may need to wash more frequently if:

  • you have pets

  • you have allergies

  • your HVAC system runs constantly

  • your area is dusty

Since every Filter4Life system includes 2 pouches, you can easily rotate them every 3 months and always have a clean one ready.

 

5. How long does a pouch last?

Each pouch lasts years, even with regular washing.
Since each filter includes 2 pouches, you can rotate them and extend their lifespan even more.

 

6. Is it safe to wash the pouch in my washing machine?

Yes — the pouches can be washed safely in a front-loading washing machine using:

  • cold or warm water

  • gentle cycle

  • mild detergent

Let the pouch air dry (do not use a dryer).

 

8. Will a reusable filter damage my HVAC system?

No. Filter4Life is designed for safe airflow and low pressure drop, making it compatible with:

  • furnaces

  • AC units

  • heat pumps

  • ventilation systems

If your system uses standard disposable panel filters, it works with Filter4Life.

 

9. How do I know when to wash the pouch?

Wash when you notice:

  • visible dust

  • reduced airflow

  • more noise from your HVAC

A good rule:
If it looks dirty, wash it.
